Half Way There

It was an adventure.


Prior to the trip I was mainly concerned about our physical security.  I ended up feeling secure and safe overall.


Here are the challenges which caught me by surprise:

1. Montezuma's Revenge- 6 of the 7 of us even though we avoided drinking the water.

2. Travel marathons.  On Friday, I had 16 hours (with an 18 month old) in airports and planes (on my own).

Chris and Savanna are now on 16 hours just in the Cancun airport. . . Hopefully in a couple hours I will hear back from them in Houston.

3. The "heat of the day."

I am sure that all 3 of these complaints don't mean much to Savanna.  She entirely enjoyed the adventure and I'm so excited to see her, once she and her daddy overcome #2 above.  We're half way there.
