Harrington Beach State Park

Saturday we visited Harrington Beach State Park, which has a very cute pond, Plunkett Pond,
a filled-in limestone quarry that is beautiful and a mile of Lake Michigan Beach (plus a bit of beach that dogs can enjoy, Monsenior loved the adventure).
There are lots of trails through the woods (hardly any people). . . and only 30 minutes away.

The black dot in the middle of the sky isn't a UFO!
It's a mosquito- probably a very full mosquito.
They were everywhere and anytime you stopped moving- they found you.

Kindly, I choose not to include a photo of Chris and Sophie dripping in puke.
Sophie started our adventure a bit whiny and ended it with. . . a well.  Poor Sophie.

All's well today though!
