Remember the strange egg case from the post on 5/06. . . well, just when we thought we must have gotten a dud- there was an explosion of baby mantis.
In the mean time- our tiny painted lady caterpillars arrived, quickly grew and grew, formed cocoons, hatched as butterflies and flew away.
