Savanna whipped up a batch of peanut butter and chocolate oat bars- we stuck them in the freezer for our camping trip this weekend (my first trip to Door County). OK- I know I owe everyone a pic of the changes we made to the kitchen- I'm holding my breath for new windows before I take the "after" photo- but here is a little glimpse at our counter top- compare and contrast to the blog entry on March 29th- ahhhh, we are loving the "new" kitchen!!! Kisses to Chris! He's been working really hard on the house this summer. Speaking of which, the front yard landscaping is done! It looks really nice- at first I was taken aback because the plants looked so little and perhaps "in shock" but Chris watered all weekend and it's going to be sooo nice.
Current knitting project- a green bamboo raglan t-shirt with white sleeves for Savanna. I had 6 balls of green bamboo yarn and no idea what to do with it (don't get me wrong- it is beautiful), so we shall see.
